Dear Mr Smith,

Please note my objection to the above Planning Application.

I object on the following grounds:

I am not satisfied with the Environmental Statement that accompanies the application,
which fails to set out in sufficient detail the effects of the development and any mitigation
measures required to protect the human and natural environment.

This Outline Planning Application does not address my concerns regarding:

The potential adverse effects of contamination, especially in relation to asbestos;

Safeguards relating to de-contamination and remediation of the Whole Site,

The likely effects of the development on the environment and public health;

The amenity value, ecology and nature conservation of the Whole Site;

The effect and consequences for the wider environment, particularly in relation to the
catchment area of any contaminants released from, or caused by the proposed
development;

The effect this development may have on trees protected by a Permanent Tree
Preservation Order;

Highway safety and congestion, flooding, hydrology, geology and ground conditions;

I view the application to not to be in compliance with national, regional and local planning
policies, and both the current Rochdale MBC Unitary Development Plan (UDP) and the
proposed draft UDP.
